The first survey of Chinese media has been completed and the second survey is on the way…

The Australian Chinese community is large and extensive. From government to the community to academic and business circles, many people in Australia care about what the Chinese are paying attention to and what they read. In order to provide Australian society with a true and comprehensive understanding of the Chinese community, “Chinese Digital/Social Media: Rethinking of Soft Power” research project funded by the Australian Research Council (ARC) held the first large scale survey on the use of Chinese-language digital and social media in Australia. The survey received positive support from the Chinese community and received more than expected amount of feedback in less than a week. The researchers are currently conducting in-depth and detailed analysis and research on the survey results.

At the same time, the second survey focusing on the Chinese people's reading habits of online media and news consumption is underway.
